We had already mentioned the Galaxy Note 8 launch date in our previous story, but now one of the authentic sources confirmed it. The twitter’s sensational tipster @evleaks upheld the launch date of the phablet on August 23 and also the full specifications just three weeks before the official launch event.
Evan Blass who is popularly known as @evleaks on twitter mentioned the final specs of Galaxy Note 8 in his recent tweet and also on his guest post on Venture Beat. He also posted an image of the phablet from all the possible angles that also shows the S – Pen Stylus both on the top and bottom of the picture.
The phablet will be available in two color options of Black and Gold. Evan Blass mentioned the design of Galaxy Note 8 would be somewhat similar to the premium flagship device Galaxy S8 and S8+ but not completely. The inclusion of S – Pen Stylus is verified, and the other changes in the design might be the more squared – off corners which includes the corner of the display just like any other Samsung Galaxy Note – Series device.
It will flaunt with a big 6.3″ of Super AMOLED screen with the 2960 x 1440 of HD resolutions. It maintains the 18:5:9 aspect ratio of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ just like its HD resolutions. There is an IP68 certification of water and dust resistance for this phablet which has the dimensions of 162.5 x 74.6 x 8.5 mm.
With a fast battery charging and wireless charging feature, the phablet packs a 3300 mAh battery. Again just like S8 duos, this phablet will be equipped with the Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 SoC all over the globe but a separate Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC for the US market. It will run on Android Nougat operating system out of the box from day one.
The phablet employs a dual 12 MP camera (both 12 MP sensors) where the primary one will have a f/1.7 aperture with dual-pixel autofocus feature while the other has the f/2.4 aperture which enables the 2x zoom. On the upfront, there will be an 8 MP of the camera with the f/1.7 aperture.
Galaxy Note 8 will start shipping in the month of September to Europe with a price tag of nearly €999 in Midnight Black and Maple Gold color options. In the near future, two more color options will be added to the phablet namely, Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue. A 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable internal storage is what this phablet will bring for you.
