LG V30 is right on schedule. As we mentioned in our past story that this new V – Series smartphone from LG would mark its presence on 31st August and it does. The smartphone is now officially announced with some spectacular changes.
It flaunts with the 6″ of the Always On P-OLED display with 18:9 viewable area. There is a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 over the screen for protection. Further protection is provided by the IP68 water and dust proof certification, and it is MIL-STD-810G compliant too. The phone has the QHD+ 1440p of resolutions, and HDR10 enabled.
As rumored, this phone comes embedded with the 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of the internal storage options. A 16 MP of camera with OIS, Laser & Phase Detection AF, 3-axis features + 13 MP of f/1.9 camera are placed on the rear panel. In the front of the phone, there is a 5 MP of the selfie snapper camera.
This time the battery is non – removable as there is a 3300 mAh of the battery to provide power to V30 smartphone. The rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, Infrared, type – C reversible USB port are some major features.
The secondary display which was the charm of LG V – Series smartphones is gone. There is no auxiliary display to LG V30, but there is a widescreen with thin bezels and 18:9 viewable area which is called the full vision display.
The phone has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC in the heart with 2.45 GHz Octa – Core CPU. It runs on Android v7.1 Nougat operating system out of the box and Android v8.0 Oreo update will surely be on the cards.
The smartphone will go on sale in three different color options of Silver, Titan, and Pink colors. The US fans of V30 can sign up here to get the availability updates.
LG claims that the 3300 mAh battery can give you the 120 hours of standby and 20 hours of continuous call life. The smartphone will go on sale in September in Korea. There is no news about shipping of LG V30 to other countries yet.
