Note the date September 12 at 12:30 pm Indian Standard Time (IST). Meanwhile, the device is available for the pre-orders in the home country, i.e. South Korea and it will go on sale there from September 21st onwards.

Purely on time, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was scheduled to launch on 23rd August, and it’s on time. Samsung launches the new and much awaited Galaxy Note 8 with some known specifications. The specs are very much known, all credits to the leaked details before the launch. But still, the device is a good one with prominent specs and features.
As the curtains go off, Note 8 is what is in front of the media. It flaunts with the 6.3″ of the Always On Infinity display which is claimed to be the largest ever display on a Note device. This edge-to-edge infinity display is bezel-less sideways and has an aspect ratio of 18:5:9.
By default, the resolution of the screen is Full HD+, but you can change it to Quad HD+ or WQHD+ from settings. There is a pair of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 one over the screen and another one on the back panel. The device is claimed to have the 14% more viewing area compared to Note 5.
The device is HDR10 compliant and also has the IP68 and Samsung Pay features. There is also a 3D Touch feature, but that is limited only to the Home Button only. You can create a gif, create artworks, make notes without unlocking the phone, capture & annotate emails or long articles with the all-new S-Pen Stylus for Galaxy Note 8 which has a tip of 0.7 mm.
Samsung brings the dual rear camera unit where both the cameras have the OIS feature and 2x optical zoom. So you can never miss the explicit shoot from the 12 MP camera. One of the lenses is of f/1.7 (regular lens) while the other is of f/2.4 (telephoto lens). There is the live focus feature added to the rear camera that will help to use the bokeh effect either before clicking the photo or after clicking it. The Dual Capture feature can let you enjoy the moments you missed during the picture shoot.
When you look at the front of the device there employs an 8 MP f/1.7 front selfie camera with the smart auto focus and auto HDR. Besides, the rear camera gives you the four different modes too namely Food Mode, Pro Mode, Panorama Mode, and Slow Motion Mode. Apart from this, it is embedded with the 6 GB of RAM and three different expandable internal memory variants of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.
You can easily split the split the display into two, i.e. you can run two apps simultaneously on Galaxy Note 8 with the split screen feature. The company claims that you will hardly find any lags with the presence of a 10nm application processor. The note will be available with Exynos 8895 SoC and Octa – Core 2.3 GHz CPU or Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Octa – Core 2.35 GHz CPU based on your region or country.
Both the variants will run on Android v7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box when it will go on for sale. The pre-registrations are already open on the official site of the company. It is said to go on sale from 15th September in Europe, no news about other markets.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is all set to give you the premium experience with the security. It has the six different security options when it comes to unlocking the device. These six options include the fingerprint scanner, PIN, password, pattern, iris scanner, and face recognization. Samsung Knox is also there to protect your biometrics and phone’s data.
A 3300 mah battery will provide the power to keep the device alive which has the wireless charging and fast charging feature. Based on your country or region, it will be available in Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey, and Deep Sea Blue color options.
